• Fashion: A bit of a loose thread

Ever wanted a celebrity stylist? Now you can with the new personal shopping experience from Thread.com. We spotted this on a sponsored post on Facebook and were intrigued. Simply put in where you like to shop and your budget, plus some personal preferences and a photo of yourself and you’ll be assigned a ‘stylist’ who will send you fashion choices that suit your style – genius!

  • Interiors: Pulling something else out of their box

Never ones afraid to break the mould and try something different, the geniuses at Made.com have revealed their very own social network! Made x Unboxed gives users and customers the chance to recommend products, swap style tips and show off their purchases. It’s almost a cross between Instagram and FourSquare, with images coming with Geotags to show where they are, the website shows where certain products are more popular and feeds back to the brand where their customers are buying. We’re excited to see how it’ll work and hopefully we’ll have some new pieces for the flat to upload and join in the fun…

  • Food: Breakfast of champions

A lazy Sunday can only mean one thing: A flood of blogging and a breakfast prepared by David’s expert hands… Always ones to try something different, this week we opted for thyme roasted peaches on toasted brioche and mascarpone with honey – yum! The perfect way to satisfy any sweet tooth. If you fancy making this for yourself, you can find it here.

  • Places to go: Let’s be Frank…

Above a car park in Peckham isn’t quite the place you’d find a Friday night hot-spot. However, with the gentrification of South London areas like Peckham and Tooting, more and more of these gin joints are appearing – much to our delight (and dismay). Frank’s is located on top of Peckham Multi-Storey Car Park on Rye Lane and serves up a great selection of cocktails. It’s a little pricey but the spectacular views of London make up for it…
