- Fashion: Fleet of Dazzle
It’s common knowledge that we’re fans of Patternity, so when we were introduced to their new collaboration with The Imperial War Museum we obviously fell in love.
The Fleet of Dazzle celebrates Dazzle camouflage, a unique technique used on war ships to confuse and distort the opposition. From tea towels and mugs to tote bags and t-shirts, you can check out the full collection here and read more about the story of Fleet of Dazzle here.
- Interiors: thank you
Thank you to everyone who voted for us in the Amara Interior Blog Awards, unfortunately we didn’t get shortlisted but not to worry, we’ll be back next year!
Congratulations to fellow friends and bloggers who did get shortlisted and best of luck to you all.
We’re taking some humble advise from Miss Alyssa Edwards…

- Food: prepare for hibernation
There is such thing as Chocolate Week, a heavenly week invented by some incredible sweet-toothed person.
This year Chocolate Week starts on Monday 13th and to celebrate Rococo is offering customers to come in to any of their stores and try a new flavour of chocolate each day. From Spice Island on Monday to Orange Marmalade on Thursday and fun Raspberry Fizz on Saturday, it’s the perfect way to try something a little different – and not feel too guilty about it because, hey, it’s Chocolate Week after all!
If you like what you try then they’ll be 15% off the chocolate of the day. Ideal for popping some lovely stocking fillers away for Christmas, or maybe just a great excuse to stock up ready for Autumn hibernation.
- Places to go: one for the little monsters…
We’re all big kids at heart, that’s why we secretly want to head to Doodle Bar where kids magazine Okido is putting on a host of cool games such as ‘Throw the Organs into the Body’ and ‘Pin the Bone on the Skeleton’ (all highly educational, naturally) in a Monster Arcade.
Part of The Big Draw, the Monster Arcade is happening this Sunday, it’s a free event and ideal for if you have little ones which need entertaining.
- Just because: God Only Knows
Celebrating the launch of BBC Music artists such as Paloma Faith, Brian May, Pharrell Williams, Chrissie Hynde and Florence Welch have got together for a cover of God Only Knows – a beautiful arrangement and even more beautiful film.
