The Summer months are around the corner and what better way to lighten up the home then with some neon brights. Happy Jackson have a great range of whimsical slogan kitchenware – David even has the ‘Yay lunch’ lunchbox! – and Oliver Bonas have great accessories including these wire candleholders which are ideal for jazzing up a mantle. If it’s a bolder statement you’re looking to make, high street retailer dwell’s latest collection includes these Patch sideboards.
If you’re really looking to spring clean then take inspiration from Chalk Paint by Annie Sloan from Rigby & Mac – it’s the perfect solution to spruce up and upcycle any dowdy looking furniture, giving it a pop of fresh colour and ultimately a new lease of life. We actually have this in mind for our next project where we’re planning to re-vamp this wooden shelving unit. We procured this from the back of David’s local Chinese takeout (with permission of course!).
