On Monday 12th we visited Earls Court for Pulse London, a design show which hosts over 500 brands showcasing the latest in interiors, fashion and accessories. There’s quite a mix at Pulse, from established brands to up-and-coming designers. Asides from the great fashion pieces and jewellery we spotted, the homewares were wonderfully inspirational.
Travel-inspired homewares brand Nkuku‘s collection is full of tonal colours, rustic materials and wonderful textures including wood, enamel and wire. It’s a wonderfully adaptable range, whether you’re heading towards the industrial trend or perhaps something a little more Country Living, Nkuku is definitely one to check out.

Pleased to meet is extremely fun. Smartly designed, the collection includes calendars, diaries, stationary, prints and cushions. The whale ‘love me’ cushion was a personal favourite and would fit swimingly on the couch.

Acid yellows which sit alongside vast whites, blacks and blues make up the colour palette for Anthony Hughes homewares collection. Inspired by the architecture of the North, the collection includes digitally printed cushions, lampshades and wallpaper. We thought the colourways were really inspiring and we loved the geometric industrial designs.

Coming away slightly from homeware, one of the show favourites was Lollipop Designs, a stationary brand whose collection is ideal for gifts, whether buying or wrapping. What really caught our eye though were the plates in the collection, specifically this little lady…

Finally, and we can’t believe that these guys aren’t huge stars by now, is the Men’s Society who are designers and distributors of men’s gifts. There’s some really cool stuff from beard oil and moustache kits to vintage style bottle openers and incredibly designed matchboxes – as you can see below, we certainly favoured their nautical pieces. Unfortunately there isn’t the full collection online however I’m sure as their popularity grows they’ll be further pieces introduced so do keep your eyes peeled!

Pulse was great and the good news is that we have come away with plenty of flat inspiration, the bad news? Our Christmas wish list has just grown a considerable amount. Sorry Santa, we hope you have enough room on your sleigh!
