We were gifted this a while back now but completely forgot to blog about it. After going to the newly opened Imperial Durbar with its ‘British Indian’ interiors we were reminded about this lovely photo that Mark’s flatmate Anna got us from her trip to India.
It’s dated back to 1967 and it’s a photo of four Indian men. It’s simplistic, which we love, and what makes it that slightly bit more magical is the way it’s all black and white, except for the gentleman’s bindi on the far left which is a bright red (rather hard to see in the photo unfortunately).
Huge thank you Anna for the photo. It will take pride of place in the flat come September.
