Whilst packing up ready for the move we came across a clattering bag which we completely forgot about and it turns out that it was a year ago that we had bought, packaged them up and placed them in to hibernation ready for there awakening in the new flat.
We spotted this Scandi coffee set in a charity shop just down the road from David’s (now previous) flat.
Consisting of 6 cups and 6 saucers as well as a sweet little sugar pot, we couldn’t resist the charm of this set and loved the retro 70s feel which the brown and mustard colour way evoked.
We can’t remember exactly how much the set cost but it was something around £10 – a bargain if you ask us.
One of our top tips if you’re planning on moving is to start thinking about buying things far in advance. It may feel silly at the time, but if you see something you like, whether it’s bed sheets, tableware, photo frames or even decorative accessories then get them, wrap them up safely and pop them away in a cupboard. When it comes to moving you would of hoarded a variety of things which is a load of your mind when coming to move.
