- Fashion: these boots are made for walking…
Bourgeois Boheme have a great selection of contemporary shoes for men, all of which are vegan and ethical for any of you green eco-warriors out there! We’re particularly loving these boots…

- Interiors: don’t throw it to waste
It’s not a secret that we’re fans of upcycled, recycled and salvaged pieces. Remade in Britain is a website which is doing just that and we think it’s great. You’ll even spot some of Max McMurdo‘s pieces on their, like this bathtub-turned-sofa. Rub-a-dub-dub!

- Food: worth the ride
From Cape Town to Cairo is the theme of Hoxley & Porter, a lovely restaurant between Angel and Highbury & Islington. As you enter the carriage style corridor you’re thrown back in time amidst an abundance of homewares and interiors which would make any discerning interiors follower envious.
And when you’re not admiring the House of Hackney palm-print wallpaper or the restored chairs which have been adorned with dapper cat printed fabrics you’ll find that the food is pretty alright too! We opted for the set-menu which at around £16 for three courses was pretty great.
Here’s the tiniest of peeks because we don’t want to give too much away. It’s lovely though and most certainly worth a visit.
- Places to go: Edward Scissorhands
It’s unfortunately now finished at Sadler’s Wells but New Adventures contemporary performance of the Tim Burton film ‘Edward Scissorhands‘ is now on tour and most likely somewhere near you soon!
It’s the second time that David has seen it (he’s a huge Matthew Bourne fan) and on Sunday Mark joined him to see the last day of performances in London.
It is truly magical so if you have a chance, go and see it!
