When the summer sun makes an appearance the barbecues heat up, gardens are full with friends and the cocktails are flowing. With this in mind, we’ve been looking at ways to make the best of entertaining and dining throughout the warmer months, and Achica have just the stuff…

Premier Besa cork placemats set of 4, Premier Besa black and white glass chopping board, Bitossi Bloom Jug's, plates are Whittard's and salad bowl and servers are Laura Ashley

With the rising trend of cork in interiors we couldn’t help but fall in love with these cork placemats by Premier Besa – a nod to the patterns of Marimekko and with a Scandi feel we paired the set of four with a monochrome glass chopping board.

Now with these hotter climes it’s important to stay hydrated, and currently we’re loving fruit infused water. Bitossi’s Bloom jugs are ideal for this so naturally, we got three! In clear, blue and green, they’re the perfect pitchers for a light libation.

The nature of Achica means that these items have most likely already left the building however we encourage you to take a look at their other wares, which range from small home accessories through to larger furniture pieces and in styles including shabby chic through to industrial – you just can’t go wrong. So much so, we also bought a bath mat – although that’s not as exciting so we thought we’d save showing you that one!

Lets hope for an Indian Summer so we can continue the fun,
David & Mark x
