The one thing that frustrates us about the Interiors industry sometimes is the fact that everything is so ‘vanilla’ and the fact that a rock & roll release or product range is few and far between. That’s why Buster + Punch is right up our street. Oozing of the true spirit of the more hardcore end of the musical spectrum, the brand knows how to get down and dirty – while still keeping a somewhat glamorous edge.

GET HARD by Buster + Punch

Buster + Punch really do stick to their brand ethos. When we turned up at their GET HARD launch for London Design Festival, the store was awash with beer bottles and wine glasses. It looked like they had been having a belter of a time and we really wouldn’t expect anything less or want it any other way.

However, empties aside, there was something far more appealing to us in the space and that was the collection itself. In true B+P style, their new collection of hardware was presented in immaculate, black-leather-padded cases in the style of guitar cases. Featuring handles and knobs that could take any piece of furniture up to 11 – as they are in the style of amp knobs – we loved how these could be applied to anything from sideboards to bedside tables and give them the edgy finish that we love.

As well as this, there was a whole range of light switches, pendant lamps, the odd motorcycle and some jazzy leather bracelets – which we loved! In the Hop Exchange at London Bridge, we loved the space and felt like the guys at B+P had really put some thought into the showcase and truly brought visitors into the ethos of the brand.
