We love a good graphic print, so when we stumbled upon the bold and beautiful world of Lane. The brainchild of former graphic designers Joff and Ollie who have documented graphic design from all over the globe – taking inspiration from the worlds of advertising, TV and books.
All the products from Lane are designed by Joff and Ollie and are sold from their website, or though a select group of retailers. Collaborating from time-to-time with other liked-minded companies and designers who have a similar passion for creating something beautiful.
New for 2015, Lane has introduced the Beam Table Lamps. Each lamp is constructed with 32 paper fins that are slotted together to make an elegant and lightweight silhouette. A contemporary take on the classes concertina form and is made from four sheets of paper bonded together to make a thick card.
Design aside, what makes the lamps that little bit special is the fact the paper that holds them together is made in Cumbria by one of the oldest mills in the UK. We’ve picked this Tabriz Blue & Sorbet Yellow variation for our wish list, but there are other colours available.
