Oh January, a month of no drinking (not for us) or, the newest one, no meat (again, not for us). A month where you wonder where all your money went in the first week and where you know you should be at the gym but instead find yourself watching Celebrity Big Brother every evening.
In the interior world however, there are some little beacons of design loveliness that we’re finding it hard not to go into our minus for. Let’s take a look…
Pattern, pattern everywhere…
One of our favourites, Patternity has teamed up with highstreet heavy weights, John Lewis on a collection of fashion pieces and homewares. Cushions, rugs, towels and bathroom accessories make up the homewares side of things and for fashion there’s leggings, jumpers, tops and activewear. All, of course, in Patternity’s signature monochrome patterned goodness. Who says wearing your homewares isn’t fashionable?

Texture from Tom Dixon
When you think of Tom Dixon, most we’ll think of copper tealight holders, candles and beautiful pendants. However, the metal master of design also offers cosy cushions. Launching today, Tom Dixon studio is adding three new collections alongside their Soft and Boucle ranges. Geo, Paint and Abstract, join the family and the studio has worked with up and coming designers and craftsman to create the collections. Our favourite, Abstract, have been made in Northern India by skilled craftsman. Inspired by urban perspective sketches and hippy wall hangings of the seventies, the Abstract cushions are made using 100% New Zealand wool and have a beautiful, textural feel.

No need for January blues with that lovely lot.
We hope everyone is having a great gym-going-Dry-Vegan-whatever-it-is,
