March! How the bloody hell did that happen? First of all we’re going to completely gloss over the fact we didn’t do a ‘three new launches’ for February but it was Mark’s birthday month (yes, month) so we have been slightly inebriated for the last 28 days. But alcoholism aside, it’s straight back to business. This month we’ve caught wind of a new swanky designer collaboration, some outdoor furniture (yes we know it’s still baltic outside) and some plush new fabrics.

Hello, Kitty

Our good friends and all-round nice people at Arlo & Jacob have upped their style game yet again. Not content with launching a collection exclusively designed with House & Garden, they’re at it again – this time with Folkstone-based design label, Kitty McCall.

Cut to the hand-crafted in Longeaton Emilia armchair from A&J, which now looks more like a Kandinsky painting thanks to the Canary print fabric design by Kitty McCall, which has been re-imagined in the sofa brand’s SS18 colours. Priced at £650, it’s a bit of a splurge for a cocktail chair, but it’s certainly the pop of colour we need at this time of year. Heart-eye-emojis all round for this.

We’ve MADE it outside

Right we know it’s a bit prem, but come on – positive thoughts – Summer is just around the corner. When you’re renting it’s such a luxury to have a garden, but hark back to our Tooting flat and know that this is achievable! Made.com have just launched a range of outdoor furniture that will seriously up your garden’s style game…

Tega aperitif set from Made.com, £399

Made have launched three key outdoor looks for 2018; Summer Punk, Modern Global and Nordic Safari – all as colourful as each other and with modular options that will suit any outdoor space from compact balconies to patios. We love this Tega set in red as part of the Summer Punk trend – inspired by terrazzo, which you’ll know we’ve predicted to be huge this year.

Crank up the Colour

A bit of a sofa sandwich right now, but we’re under strict orders from Loaf.com to crank up the colour – and we’re beginning to spot a bit of a trend in this round-up. The darlings of the interiors industry have banished the beige and are bringing an injection of fun back into our homes. With everything from new fabrics to furniture – it’s time to be bold with our colour choices.

Loaf - Scatter cushions upholstered in NEW Velvet fabrics from £20 high res 2

Bright fabrics are having a bit of a moment and we’re edging away from having a staple neutral ‘anchor’ piece in our homes it seems – especially if the green velvet sofa from Made.com we spotted earlier in the year is anything to go by. The new range is extensive, we’re talking sofas, cushions, curtains, rugs, chairs and other furniture – so there’s something for each part of the room!

Have you spotted anything else mega colourful popping up this month? We say bring it on, so let us know on @instagram or in the comments below!

We’re off to put our shades on,
David & Mark x
