On a sunny Saturday morning, we went to the estate agents to sort some admin out for the new flat. On the way we had to make a pit stop at Tooting Bec’s new addition Imperial Durbar for a much needed iced latte and pastry following a rather boozy Friday night with friends.

The Imperial Durbar’s decor is lovely. The theme is British India and whilst walking around you can’t help but fall in love with all the antique pieces, beautiful wallpaper and traditional artwork.

One thing which we had to take a snap of was the signage on the walls.

These vintage inspired metal posters are really fun and would look great in a kitchen, hallway or bathroom.

Surface View would be a great port of call if you wanted to get this look. Their P&O Heritage Collection travels the globe from Australia and Norway to San Fransisco of course India.

Finally, to finish the wanderlust, The Metal Art Company has this 1933 Air Mail poster.

And there you have it, our picks of some metal signage. There is, of course, those go to sites such as Not on the High Street, eBay and Amazon where you can find more specific themes.
