En route back from a much needed power nap on Wandsworth Common we were deep in flat planning thoughts when we spotted a lonely lamp with a little disclaimer…
Now, it’s not the most desirable of shades, however, David weirdly was mentioning how we needed to get a floor lamp for the new flat so not ones to ignore fate we couldn’t help but adopt the skinny fella.
It’s a simple silver metal base which with a change of lamp shade could look perfect in the living room.
We’re thinking perhaps a metal cage-like lamp shade…
Paired with a vintage light bulb…
And we could re-design this freebie in to an industrial delight!
It’s amazing how once you need to find pieces for a flat, whether current or soon-to-be, you start to spot and look out for finds everywhere and anywhere. We were really lucky, and grateful, to find this lamp and couldn’t agree more with their last comment…
