• Fashion: timeless cities

Dapper, stylish, relaxed and smart, all qualities which we’d want in a watch and one which watch brand Daniel Wellington incorporates.

Their collection is gorgeous and classic and with interchangeable Nato straps, you can mix the style up depending on the occasion.

We think the Grace London for David and Grace Glasgow for Mark is an ideal fit – which would you choose?

  • Interiors: a nod to nautical

As you’ve probably guessed from previous posts, we’re huge fans of Lush Designs and already own a couple of their signature lampshades. They’ve recently expanded their collection with wallpaper and mugs as well as a newly designed tea towel so it’s no surprise that these have swiftly made their way to our “must get” list!

Inspired and in tribute to the Tall Ships Festival (more details below), this nautical designed tea towel is adorned with ships, boats as well as some mystical creatures lurking beneath the shores and is the perfect addition for those dreary dish drying chores.

  • Food: un-belle-ievably good!

Family visits took us to David’s home town of Portsmouth a couple of weekends ago. No Portsmouth trip would be complete without a visit to The Belle Isle. A restaurant/bar, the hot spot has a fantastic menu, each meal as scrummy as the last. We’d recommend the chilli nachos, a generous portion of crisp nachos oozing with cheese, ladled with chilli and topped with dollops of guacamole, sour scream and salsa along with a sprinkling of hot jalapeños.

Are mouths are watering just thinking about it…
