It’s wonderful when a piece of interiors tells a story. We’re huge fans of old fables and children’s stories (David actually collects old Edward Gorey books), and there’s just something about these pieces from Lush Designs that evokes the child within us!
David was first introduced to this brand a couple of years ago when a colleague spotted them in The Evening Standard. That weekend, with umbrellas in tow, we set off to Greenwich to see the full collection – and it wasn’t a disappointment. Curious looking owls, fantastic foxes, ships, mermaids, flora, fauna and everything in between, the collection ranges from lampshades and cushions to bed linen and tea towels.
We came away on the first visit with this stag lampshade in blue which David has hung in his bedroom…

We’ve since been back to get this cheeky monkey design lampshade, fitting for Mark’s bedside table lamp!

In preparation for the upcoming flat, and with both of us having ever changing ideas on how we’d like to decorate, we know that another trip is most certainly on the cards. Here are a few pieces we have our eye on…

These Lush Designs will most certainly add character to a room so we definitely suggest taking a visit to one of their stores. You’ll probably bump in to us there!
Happy hunting,
David & Mark x
