Very rarely you’ll hear the words Somerset House and Poundshop in the same sentence, but that’s exactly what we’ve been waiting on to do a haul for Christmas presents. This December, the good people at the Poundshop are opening a special pop-up called The Garage Sale between 10th-13th December 2015.
The new idea gives designers a platform to sell stock from past-seasons, prototypes, work in progress and samples. Bringing products from over 50 designers in one specially-curated space designed by BAT Studio. Us good people will be able to get their hands on one-of-a-kind items that are not available in any shop and are perfect for those who want to get something a little special for a loved one this Christmas.
In classic Poundshop style, prices start from £1.00 and range up to £100.00. Designers who will be selling their wares include Martino Gamper and his Arnold Circus stools, one-off scarves designed by Malika Favre, animation still by Johnny Kelly, prints by HelloVon and illustrated cards and mugs by Lisa Jones Studio.
Entry is priced at £3.00 and you are politely reminded to bring a bag. The Garage Sale will accept cards, but you are also advised to bring cash as this will be quicker!
