It’s always exciting getting to visit the home of someone in the interiors industry and when we were invited to a Slumber Party at Russell and Jordan’s house – aka 2LovelyGays – we just couldn’t resist. However, we weren’t there to have pillow fights and talk about boys (although we kind of did the latter) – we had something much more intimate to see… Their new collection of stunning bed linen with The Secret Linen Store.
The boys wanted to design bed linen that could fit into the customer’s existing interior without screaming in your face, but also, that could inspire a new interior scheme if you are thinking of giving your bedroom a refresh. 2LovelyGays always design a space with layers and elements that come together to create a very special atmosphere. So the guys designed a collection that is supremely soft and lovely to sleep in as they are made from the finest cotton, selected carefully by Secret Linen Store, and finely woven into a Jacquard sateen.
The Mary design is based on the original textured Anaglypta wallpaper that was on almost every surface of the house when the guys moved in. They fell in love with its nostalgia and gave it a modern twist by reinventing it as a Jacquard bed linen.
Next we had Florence. With a pale pink, dare we say peach, affair based on the marbled papers Jordan and Russell brought back from their honeymoon in Florence. Its subtle organic texture combined with the colour is pure luxury with a contemporary edge.
Finally – and probably our favourite – was Moon. Inspired by the rough plaster walls that were unearthed after many hours of stripping. Named Moon, as it looked luna once the samples arrived. It’s classic, but in a futuristic way, and would sit beautifully in any bedroom scheme.
With the collection starting at £10, the boys have worked with the bedroom gurus of the Secret Linen Store to create a collection that is super high quality, absolutely gorgeous and most importantly for us – affordable. It feels fantastic and looks even better. Obviously we couldn’t wait to jump into it… along with Lucy from Decorenvy and Kate from Fabric of my Life.
If you want to see more details or shop the collection, visit The Secret Linen Store. We promise you won’t be disappointed when you get into bed with 2LovelyGays. Thanks guys for having us over and to Buckley for being a gracious host…
You might want to get some rest after all those puns,
