The wonderful thing about interior events is that they are never exclusive to just those in the industry. Annual event, the London Design Festival, is the interior worlds answer to Fashion Week. Unlike London Fashion Week though, there’s many a design event, exhibition or installation that is free and open to the public. Click here to see our top five picks that we recommend you go and see and make sure you grab one of the official guides too for a list of everything.
It all kicked off on Sunday, so naturally, after a hearty brunch at Honest Burger we were out the door and off to see some of the sights.
The V&A is an example of one destination which gives all the chance to see some great installations, best of all, for free. We’d definitely recommend a visit to the V&A. Here’s a little taster our highlights…
‘The Green Room’ by Glithero
Staircase G, level 6.
‘Liquid Marble’ by Mathieu Lehanneur
Room 52b, Norfolk House Music Room, level 2.
‘Beloved’ by Tabanlioglu Architects
Bridge by lift O, level 3.
‘Foil’ by Layer
Room 94, Tapestries, Level 3.
Find out more information on everything going on at the V&A here and keep up to date on what we’re up to during LDF on our Twitter and Instagram.
