Natuzzi’s contribution to the London Design Festival this year has a bit of a twist on it. The Italian brand have teamed up with three of the UK’s leading pattern designers in the interiors world to customise the Re-Vive – the world’s first performance recliner.

The chairs themselves are quite the feat of ingenuity – the chair reclines without a lever mechanism by responding to the weight of the body, so the designers had their work cut out for them to emulate this fantastic design with their own style.

They’ll be available to test out by the public until Sunday 25th September and then after that, Natuzzi are selling the chairs off and will donate the proceeds to the victims of the devastating Italian earthquake that occurred last August – adding to the brand’s dedication to social concerns.

Check out the designs a little bit more up close:

Prior to the exhibitions launch event, we were treated to a special preview by the good people at We Blog Design and it was great to connect with our fellow bloggers over great design and, of course, a few beverages.
