Is that a glimmer of summer sunshine we see before us? Well, in our books that means one thing and one thing only – gin!
We have two tasty recipes for you to try and we’re certain you’re going to love them.
Like with any cocktail though, the glass is just as important as the drink inside them. For our two tipples we opted for the GIN Balloon and GIN tumbler glasses from LSA International’s GIN collection. Tumblers are a classic and sophisticated choice, and we love how the balloon glasses are a fun alternative to the norm.
Ok, so what do we need to get the party started? First, how about an East-West Twist, a zesty, refreshing cocktail.
Per cocktail you’ll need:
50ml gin (we used Fair*)
25ml lychee juice
15ml jasmine tea
Soda (to top up)
15ml lemon wedge squeezed
Garnish: Lemon twist
From there it’s simple, fill your GIN Tumbler with ice and pour in your ingredients. Give it a good stir and finish with a lemon peel twist (which we’re terrible at, so don’t judge us).

The second cocktail is a Citrus Blush. We have our fabulous GIN Balloon glasses for this one and all you’ll need is:
50ml gin (we used Fair*)
15ml freshly squeezed lemon juice
20ml fresh pink grapefruit juice
30ml lemongrass tea, cooled
15ml sugar syrup
Garnish: Lemongrass and grapefruit half moon
Again, fill the balloon glass with ice and pour in the ingredients. Give it a stir and finish with a slice of fresh grapefruit and if you’re feeling fancy, some lemongrass.
Doesn’t that look totally tropical and brilliantly refreshing? If you need those GIN Balloon glasses in your life then follow this link to get your hands on them.
Fruity cocktails perfect for the warmer climes ahead! We’d love to see if you bring out your inner mixologist this summer. Snap a photo of your cocktails and tweet us them – we’d love to see.
