Seek No Further is the new premium label from Fruit of the Loom and it’s ripe for the picking, but hurry! The pop-up store at 30A Redchurch Street is only around for a short while so make sure you stock up for your Summer wardrobe.
- Interiors: Waste not, want not
Practical, multi functional and just damn genius – this bin from West Elm is definitely going on the ‘Must Buy’ list!
- Food: A curry and a cocktail
Zumbura is a new-ish addition to Clapham’s Old Town. Not only are the staff friendly and welcoming and the interior is delightful but the food is a cut above the rest. A fresh departure from the usual Tooting curry houses which we’re used to, Zumbura’s offering is from North India and are old family recipes. Its tapas style is a great excuse to try as much on the menu as you can possibly consume – we recommend the Machli Ka Salan (fish curry and David’s favourite) and Pakora (Mark’s favourite). The cocktails are pretty jammin’ too. Bottoms up!
- Place to go: For book worms
David is a collector of Edward Gorey books so is forever on the hunt in places high and low for possible finds of first editions. The Southbank Centre Book Market is a great place to start if you’re on the lookout for secondhand books.
