Fishing for a winner

With money on our mind, we were eager to see what we could get if we expanded our radius nearer towards Tooting Broadway. We had not really considered this side of the area because we don’t know it all too well and because the Balham side is just that little bit closer to work.

Having posted about one-bedroom apartments, we thought we’d give searching for a two-bedroom a go, just for a giggle. Luckily, we weren’t too disheartened when we found this two-bedroom apartment on Fishpond Road.

Situated half way between Tooting Bec and Tooting Broadway Underground Stations, we could take this little stretch in the wrong direction for an extra bedroom at the same price we would pay for smaller elsewhere. With a large lounge, one large double bedroom and a smaller single bedroom, it’s probably the exact size we are looking for. With both of our parents living outside London, we’d like to be able to offer them – or any visitors – somewhere to sleep, which the smaller bedroom would accomodate. As well as this, we would use the room as a study when we’re on our own – it’s a perfect space for it.

With Gas Central Heating and neutral decór in the flat already, moving in and making our changes wouldn’t be too hard. Also, this price is perfect for us and definitely makes us think we need to look elsewhere to get some bang for our buck!
