• Fashion: Reigning vintage

In the heart of Soho, you’ll find Reign Vintage. Stocking vintage finds from Austria, Germany and Italy, the store has a quirky interior and we’ve found a few amazing pieces in there. You’ll find everything from designer labels to unknown gems and there’s always a friendly atmosphere. We love how the store has a clean appearance and the clothes are displayed in a way that makes them accessible and easy to browse through.

The thrill of the treasure hunt is what vintage stores are about and we’ve certainly found some great pieces in here. With a location on Berwick Street in London and another in Oxford, we highly recommend popping in – but only when you have a reasonable bank balance!

  • Interiors: Affordable art

We came across Artful at Clerkenwell Design Week and fell in love. Affordable and wonderful art, ideal for the home and easy to purchase, what could be better? One which stood out for us was this silly shot by Julian Ward.

  • Food: New finds

Just next to Tooting Bec Tube Station, there has been an empty unit for as long as we can remember. In the space that used to be a cocktail bar, we’re looking forward to the opening of The Imperial Durbar -an East Indian inspired coffee and cocktail bar combining an unusual and original array of elements and innovations from Queen Vic’s East India Company to Maharaja Bhupinder Singh’s reign.

We’re looking forward to sampling their bountiful range of traditional Indian teas and coffees made fresh in house by the Chai Wallahs, whilst sampling some of the finest bakes goods this side of the Ganges. Also, out the back, we can’t wait to find ourselves in the garden where ice cold Indian beers and Maharaja sized Gin and Tonics reign supreme.

Make sure you look out for their current social media promotion, where you can try and name their signature beer – look out for the hashtag on Twitter!
