Another one from London Design Festival, last week we went to 100% Design, a design show held at Earl’s Court London.
Mark had previously been the night before for the launch party where Gary Powell of The Libertines was spinning the decks…
The next day, with a coffee in hand and trying not to get too distracted by the mirrored corridor, we made our way through to the exhibit. Here’s a round-up of some great new brands and products we came across…
When we first entered it was these lights by Delightfull which caught our eye. As fans of fairground lighting we think the dollar sign specifically would look perfect leant up against a living room wall – delightful indeed!
Most certainly one to watch is Mineheart – from rocking chair table lamps, screen-printed floor rugs, mini chandelier pendent light bulbs to pink Napoleon lamps, the range is humorous, endearing and whimsical. We’re not sure if Napoleon would quite be tickled pink by it all though…
Further genius lighting was provided by Lightovo whose collection included these beautiful glass lampshades. These glass houses can accommodate your potted plants giving them extra light but ultimately creating a stunning light installation for the home.
David fell in love with this Jesus mirror, although we can’t remember who it was by so if anyone knows then please do leave us a comment!
Finally, as we were on our way out to leave we noticed this very clever storage system by Study Beds. Perfect for if you have a smaller space it’s a bed which can be pushed up to reveal a study desk and back down again in one smooth movement.
Some very cool ideas, we’re sure you’d agree!
