When living in London there are certain fixtures and elements which are a luxury, a balcony for instance or a 24-hour porter or a second single bedroom that isn’t the size of a coffin. A garden is the ultimate luxury for London living. Being able to pop out a sun-lounger and catch some rays, get that barbecue going, grow your own plants and fresh herbs… what a dream.
We have already talked about great products and outdoor interiors for balconies but never content with what we have and for those of you who, like us, don’t have a garden but would like to add a little fauna to your flat then we’ve found these handy space-saving alternatives ideal for those who aren’t blessed with an outdoor oasis (for those of you who are, we welcome invites for us to come and tan in your garden… we’ll of course provide the beer).

And the piece de resistance of eco-friendly indoor planting?
Sprout. Available in 11 different herbs, each Sprout pencil contains organic seeds meaning once your pencil is too short you simply pop it in to a planter, provide it with the obvious (sunshine, water and some TLC) and wait, soon your new arrival will be offering you mint, basil, coriander or even cherry tomatoes. That in our books is some clever thinking.

If you’re feeling inspired to get pottering around the flat then grab some soil, seeds along with 1 || 2 || 3 || 4 || 5 and you’re good to grow!
We’ll leaf you there, seed you next thyme!
